YLI is an after-school program for youth 14-18 to work alongside a team of other young people who want to make a difference in their community using the arts. Now offered online, over the course of 10 sessions, you and your team will design and deliver a creative project that takes action on a social issue you choose together. You’ll get the chance to collaborate and learn with professionals from the arts, non-profit and private sectors to bring your project to life. Added plus: you’ll get a free YLI Kit containing all the supplies you’ll need for the program, meals during sessions and participation counts towards volunteer hours.

YLI is running this fall in Ontario and BC. Sessions run from 4-6PM. In Vancouver, we’ll be running one group with sessions running on Wednesdays. In Ontario, we’ll be running three YLI groups, one meeting on Mondays, another on Tuesdays and another on Wednesdays. Sessions run using Zoom. You’ll need a computer or tablet, with a microphone and camera and internet access to participate (please contact us if you don’t have access to these tools at home – we can help!).
